Programming

I've been programming since around 2005 when I was really into website development. I started with PHP but I have also dabbled in Java, Python, C#, C++, and Bash. These days, I mostly use PHP, but I have been looking at "retro" languages. Namely, Macromedia ColdFusion (pre-Adobe). I remember always seeing files with the .cfm extension and wondering what they were. Given that ColdFusion cost a lot of money back in the day, I never got to play with it. I only recently learned that developer mode was free to use (with some limitations). But after getting a copy of it setup on a Windows 2003 VM, I finally got to play around with it.

For modern times, I mostly stick with PHP. Everything I use is programmed in it, and it's just what I know.

What this section of my site is about

This section is going to be interesting. I'll mostly just be posting code snippets, tutorials, and other tidbits about programming and languages I use. I've started building out the ColdFusion section with some basics.
